XPay On-site App Migration Activity
Steps for Migration
Step 1: Disable 1 Tap from XAP
Navigate to the XAP Store Settings.
Locate the 1 Tap feature and disable it.
This step is essential to ensure the payment process is streamlined through the On-site App without conflicts.
Step 2: Share the On-site App Link with the Client
Provide the client with the On-site App Link: https://apps.shopify.com/xpay-onsite-card-payments to initiate the migration process.
The client should receive this link directly and be ready to proceed with fetching the necessary details.
Step 3: Client to Fetch Gateway Details
The client needs to log into their XAP Store.
Navigate to the Store Settings and fetch the Gateway Details.
These details include the necessary configuration parameters required to set up the On-site App on the Shopify store.
Step 4: Add Gateway Details and Submit
The client will enter the fetched Gateway Details into the provided fields on the On-site App configuration page.
After entering all required information, click on the Submit button.
The process will redirect the client to the Payment Tabs on their Shopify store after successful submission.
Step 5: Activate XPay On-site Payment Method
In the Shopify store's Payment Settings, click on Activate under the supported payment methods section for XPay.
This step completes the integration process, enabling the XPay On-site App as the primary payment method.
Step 6: Place a Test Order
To confirm the successful integration and ensure the payment flow is working correctly, place a test order.
During the test order, add card details and proceed with the transaction.
Verify the entire payment process to ensure that the updates have been successfully applied.
Post-Migration Validation
Once the test order is completed, verify the transaction in the XAP store to ensure everything is functioning as expected.
The client should check for the successful processing of payments and confirm the correct setup of the XPay On-site App.
